The new "Amigo das Aves" website, from Barra do Piraí/RJ and Region
Hi Friends!
After several misfortunes with our old free provider, we acquired this own domain and we contracted a paid hosting service.
We are reformulating the site creating new areas, thus who want to contribute or ask for some change can contact us by email, ok?
Posthumous homage
We give here to homage to two great friends, photographers and birds lovers.
In October of 2006 our friend Rogério Dias, from Brasilia, passed away in an accident. We all miss him. His work can be seen here:
Now in June of this year (2007), due to health problems, we lost another great friend, Francisco, “Chico”, from Volta Redonda.
Chico was an assiduous visitor of the Botanical Garden of Rio De Janeiro and other places as the National Park of Itatiaia. In the site of the Friends of the Botanical Garden, during August 2007, there will be a homage to Chico, which can be seen here:
